LUSAS to attend Footbridge 2014
Since its inauguration
in Paris in 2002, the triennial Footbridge Conference has
established itself as a highlight of the regular international
conference programme for anyone engaged in the design,
construction and maintenance of footbridges. The 2014 event is
taking place at Imperial College, London and LUSAS is pleased to
announce that it is exhibiting LUSAS Bridge analysis software and
sendihg delegates to the event.

At Footbridge 2014
delegates from around the world will have an opportunity to
discuss a range of different issues facing this specialist
international industry, including historic and heritage
structures, dynamic response and structural behaviour,
inspirations in footbridge design, sustainability in footbridges,
advances in materials technology and the future direction of
footbridge design and construction.
Call
for papers
A call for papers is
currently being made. With the vast number of footbridges that
have been designed by those of you using LUSAS over the years we
would ask all clients to consider submitting an abstract.
The event website asks
that all those wishing to present a paper should submit a one-page
abstract in English using the template on the homepage at www.footbridge2014.com
Abstracts must be
received before 30th September 2013.
