LUSAS is a high tech company specialising in the development of application software for Bridge and Civil/Structural analysis and design, based on the LUSAS finite element system. We are looking for experienced design engineers to expand our application development team based at our riverside head office in Kingston upon Thames.

If you have design office experience in Bridge and Civil/Structural Engineering but have a strong interest in developing your career in engineering software then this could be just the job for you. It will allow you to develop in a specialist field whilst capitalising on your engineering knowledge and expertise.

• You should have a good degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and a minimum of two years design experience in structural engineering, preferably including bridge design, using stress analysis software and be familiar with design codes. Experience of using LUSAS would be an advantage but is not essential as training will be given.

• You must be able to demonstrate a good aptitude for programming and have experience in programming. 

• Experience in VB.NET would be an advantage but is not essential. Training will be given to further develop and hone your programming skills.

• Among your personal qualities will be the ability to work in a team, good communication skills both written and verbal, and a dedication to quality.

An excellent remuneration package is available dependent on experience.
