Analysis Capabilities (General)
Analysis capability is dependent upon the
product in use. For details see the Software Specifications.
Linear Static Analysis
- Stresses, strains, displacements, moments, shears and axial
forces that result from static loading are easily calculated.
- Loads are assumed to be applied instantaneously in order to
develop the state of internal stress and transient effects are ignored.

Linear Buckling Analysis
- For relatively stiff structures such as plate
girders, diaphragms and U frames the maximum load that can be supported prior to
structural instability or collapse occuring can be readily obtained.

Natural Frequency Analysis
- Natural frequencies and structural mode shapes from wind,
fluctuating loads and other induced loadings can be determined.

Fatigue Analysis
The fatigue response of a structure or structural
component can be evaluated in accordance with all major design codes.
