What file name convention does LUSAS support?

Filenames containing " ' " or " - " characters are not supported by LUSAS because they are not a standard character in the ISO9660 filename conventions which we adhere to. In this convention only A-Z, 0-9 and _ are permitted. Characters used that are not part of this convention can cause analyses to crash abruptly without warnings or errors.

Working on LUSAS models which are stored on a network drive is NOT recommended.  Modelling and solving over a network connection is in general slower, more susceptible to writing errors, and there may be a disk space limit on your network folder (imposed by an administrator) which can lead to difficulties storing or solving models
