Typical warning message from LUSAS Solver text output file (*.OUT):

***WARNING*** CANNOT CHOOSE LARGEST EIGENVALUES IN A BUCKLING ANALYSIS : SMALLEST ONES CHOSEN BY DEFAULT (RDEGCT PROCESSOR)

Most common causes & links to solutions

This is because the option “Eigenvalues required” is set to “Maximum” rather than “Minimum” in the Eigenvalue Control for the loadcase in an Eigenvalue Buckling Analysis. In a Buckling analysis you would normally want the first mode as this will be the lowest load factor at which buckling occurs.
