Installing a network (floating) licence

From V14.2 onwards LUSAS license installation procedure has been enhanced. For detailed information see the "Installation Guide" on the LUSAS installation folder. Assuming you have installed LUSAS on the C drive this file is located at: C:\LUSAS14*\Installation Guide.pdf.

If you have purchased a network (floating) license, the installation process in versions 13.8, 14.0 and 14.1consists of the following procedure:

  1. Installing the LUSAS software on all PCs where it will be used ("client PCs")

  2. Installing the licensing software ("SentinelLM") on a PC that will act as a license server

  3. Obtain fingerprint information for the licence server PC

  4. Obtain fingerprint information for the client PCs

  5. Provide information gathered in C and D to our license key department

  6. Uploading a licence key file (which we will provide) from a client PC to the licence server

You should follow the instructions on the links above at each stage of the installation.  Note that a user logged in with administrator access rights should undertake all of these procedures

Any modelling and analysis capabilities described on this page are dependent upon the LUSAS software product and version in use.
