Running the licence monitor program (lsmon.exe)

1. Launch a DOS window: Start > Programs > MS-DOS command prompt

2. At the DOS prompts, enter the following commands:
   C:\WINDOWS> cd c:\lusas134\programs\licence
   C:\LUSAS134\PROGRAMS\LICENCE> lsmon.exe > output.txt

3. Press the "Enter" key twice.  At the DOS prompt, enter the following command:
   C:\LUSAS134\PROGRAMS\LICENCE> exit

This will generate a text file called "output.txt" in the directory c:\lusas134\programs\licence. You may open  this file in a text editor (e.g. Windows Notepad) and the contents may indicate where the problem lies.  If you cannot interpret the contents, send the file to LUSAS technical support, describing the problems you are encountering.
