relating to LUSAS Training Courses
- LUSAS scheduled training courses
get you up-to-speed quickly and ensure that you have sufficient
knowledge of the relevant facilities in LUSAS to tackle the
types of analysis that you want to do.
- ‘LUSAS
Nonlinear’ and ‘LUSAS Dynamics’ training courses cater for all engineering disciplines.
- Delegates for the ‘LUSAS
Nonlinear’ and ‘LUSAS Dynamics’ training courses should
ensure that they are familiar with linear static structural
analysis using LUSAS prior to attending one of these courses.
- Places for all courses are limited
and cannot be reserved without completing and submitting
a booking form.
- CPD or PDH: LUSAS training courses
may be considered for contributing to a recognised Continuing
Professional Development or Professional Development Hours
scheme. Delegates should check their individual scheme
requirements.
Locations / venues:
- Training courses held in Kingston
upon Thames, Surrey, UK, will be at, or close to, the LUSAS head
office.
- Training courses held in the
cities listed will be at venues to be advised prior to the start
of the course.
- For all courses joining
instructions containing details and, where possible, maps of the
event location are sent to all delegates prior to the
commencement of a course.
Course Costs:
- Course costs are quoted in local
currencies and are exclusive of any local goverment taxes (if
applicable)
- Costs include full course
documentation, individual computer hardware (unless noted on the
individual course description page), lunch and refreshments.
- LUSAS training credits may be
substituted for payment.
 Discounts
available:
- Book a 2-day Dynamics Analysis
course and a 3-day Nonlinear Analysis course running in the same
week for £1500 (saving £150 on published course costs)
- Discounts
on scheduled training course costs may be available for
full-time academics subject to availability. Please contact
LUSAS for
details.
Accommodation and Directions:
- For training courses running in Kingston

Cancellations:

Cancellations
following a booking to attend a training course that are received in writing
14
days prior to a training course taking place will be
fully refunded. We regret that no refund can be given for
cancellations after this time. However, if you are unable to
attend, you may send a substitute delegate from within your
organisation and should ideally notify us in advance of the
course, giving the person’s name. LUSAS reserves the right
to reject bookings, and
to cancel or re-schedule courses at any
time.
On-site / Customised Training Courses
LUSAS on-site and customised
training courses are also available. They can be tailor-made to your
requirements and take place at your office or any location you
specify. Depending upon
numbers attending they can provide a more cost-effective way of
training a large number of staff without incurring staff travel and
accommodation costs.
