LUSAS for Civil, Structural and Bridge Applications (Ireland)

Course Summary

A dedicated 3-day course held in Dublin, Republic of Ireland, for structural and bridge engineers, with either some or no prior knowledge of LUSAS.

The course takes you through the steps required to perform linear static structural analysis and proceeds to look at more advanced modelling and analysis techniques. The course revolves around the LUSAS Modeller interface for modelling and results processing and involves plenty of ‘hands-on’ time where, with the assistance of the trainers, you can address your own applications. With subsequent experience you should be able to successfully tackle most types of linear static structural analyses that are encountered in mainstream engineering. More advanced topics are covered on days 2 and 3.

Whilst the course is of 3 days duration, those familiar with general modelling and linear analysis with LUSAS may choose to not attend day 1 which covers general model building and linear analysis and instead only attend days 2 and 3 which cover more advanced modelling and analysis for civil, structural and bridge applications. There is a reduced charge for this.

Also, for those who want an introduction to general model building and linear analysis with LUSAS there is the opportunity to attend only day 1 at an even more reduced charge. Please see the on-line booking form for details.

The course is ideal for new staff, those new to LUSAS in your company, or those wanting to extend their analysis capabilities.
