 A LUSAS User Group Meeting and a LUSAS for Bridge
Applications Workshop/Training Session will take place at the
Technical University of Civil Engineering, Bucharest,
Romania on 20 and 21 May 2009.
By holding a regional event for
LUSAS contacts and users it is hoped to make it easy for you and
your staff to attend.

At the LUSAS User
Group Meeting presentations will be given on the latest facilities
and key features in LUSAS version 14.2 and 14.3 that can be of use
to you for bridge analysis in your design office or university.

At the
Workshop/Training day examples covering the use of LUSAS for specfic
bridge applications will be undertaken during hands-on sessions.
Subjects such as Time-stage and
Post-Tensioning
in LUSAS, Dynamics in Bridges including
pedestrian excitation / seismicity with dampers, and
Soil-Structure Interaction and foundations will be covered.
