Line_Group_Short_Lines.vbs

Description

This script creates a group of lines that have a length below a maximum value that the user can specify. This is particularly useful for identifying and remedying connectivity problems, perhaps in a model created by importing geometry from a CAD package.

Notes

1. THIS SCRIPT IS NOT PART OF LUSAS SOFTWARE AND AS SUCH IS NOT QUALITY APPROVED OR SUPPORTED. IT IS PROVIDED ON AN AS IS BASIS FOR DEMONSTRATION PURPOSES ONLY.

2. The group created can be accessed via the Groups TreeView in Modeller and will be named “Short_lines_of_length”

3. The script will set all of the model visible and check all lines in the model
