Typical error message found in the LUSAS Solver text output file (*.OUT):

***DATABASE ERROR*** ERROR DURING I/O , IOSTAT= 416

Causes & links to solutions

This message means that "file not found". It is typically a result of one or more of the following:

  1. LUSAS temporary files are pointed to a directory which doesn't exist.  Relocate LUSAS temporary files
  2. The full path name (i.e. including the directory path) to the model files may be too long.  We would recommend that you follow the rules for electronic file management.
  3. A shortcut is being used where the "target" is LUSAS_S.EXE instead of the LUSAS_S.BAT
