Typical error message found in the LUSAS Solver text output file (*.OUT):

***DATABASE ERROR*** ERROR DURING I/O , IOSTAT= 422


Causes & links to solutions 

This message means that "no space is left on device".  It is typically is caused by a lack of space available for either the virtual memory ("Windows swap/ page file") on your PC or the temporary ("scratch") files LUSAS is using.  

PC settings may cause temporary files to clash with virtual memory

  1. Relocate or re-size PC virtual memory

  2. Relocate LUSAS temporary files

  3. Relocate Windows temporary files

PC  hard drive may be getting full

  1. Clear temporary files, and delete, archive or compress files on the drive as appropriate to make space.

  2. Relocate the model file & results files to another drive
