LUSAS is a high tech company specialising in the development of application software for Bridge and Civil/Structural analysis and design, based on the LUSAS finite element system. We are looking for experienced design engineers to expand our structural design development team based at our riverside head office in Kingston upon Thames.

If you have design office experience in Bridge and Civil/Structural Engineering and have an interest in developing your career in engineering software, then this could be just the job for you. This role will allow you to progress in a specialist field whilst capitalising on your engineering knowledge and expertise.

The role will include development of design code checking software for bridges and structures of all construction types. LUSAS design facilities provide full transparency of design check calculations; you will have the opportunity to learn and develop this unique framework and expand your knowledge of design requirements throughout the world.

To be considered:

• You must have a good degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and have a minimum of two years design office experience in structural engineering (preferably including bridge design). Experience of using LUSAS would be an advantage but is not essential as training will be given.
• You must be able to demonstrate a good aptitude for programming and have some experience in programming.
• Experience with the .NET framework would be an advantage but is not essential. Training will be given to further develop and hone your programming skills.
• Among your personal qualities will be the ability to work in a team, good communication skills both written and verbal, and a dedication to quality.

You will be based at our riverside head office in Kingston upon Thames.

An excellent remuneration package is available dependent on experience.
