 LUSAS training courses
get you up-to-speed quickly and ensure that you have sufficient
knowledge of the relevant facilities in LUSAS to tackle the
types of analysis that you want to do.

After
registering for a training course, individuals
who do not have access to a suitable LUSAS version may request
a temporary training licence to allow the running
of LUSAS software on their personal computers.
On-Demand Training Courses
Our on-demand training
courses allow you to self-manage your LUSAS training, at a pace that
suits you, with support available by email.
In
brief:
- Courses
comprise a number pre-recorded video sessions, which are
a mixture of PowerPoint presentations and demonstrations
of LUSAS.
- Work
through hands-on examples - that cover the concepts
introduced in each session - offline at your own pace
between video sessions.
- Quizzes are used to check
your learning and a CPD certificate stating the number
hours of study is available on successful completion

Live Online Training
Courses
Our live online training courses are for new and
prospective clients as well as established users. For course

In
brief:

Live
online courses comprise a number of 90 to 120 minute
sessions presented at weekly intervals.

Sessions
are given via
GoToWebinar and are a
mixture of PowerPoint lecture presentations and live
demonstrations of LUSAS.

Hands-on
examples that cover the concepts introduced are provided
to allow delegates to work
through them offline at their own pace between sessions.

For
most sessions a short quiz is set to test delegates’
understanding of the topic(s) covered.

Sessions
are recorded and links to recordings will be provided to
delegates to allow viewing if a session is missed.

Bookings and payments

To book and pay for a single place on
a course click the 'Book now' button. If multiple bookings of
staff from the same organisation are required with payment to be
made via a single invoice, please
contact the training course administrator at training@lusas.com

Course costs include
handouts and are quoted in local
currencies and are exclusive of any local government taxes (if
applicable).

Please note that when paying by credit card the
amount charged in your currency may differ according to exchange rates and credit
card fees incurred, which are beyond our control.

For cancellations to attend a training course that are received in writing
at least 1 day prior to the first session taking place, the
course cost will be refunded.

LUSAS reserves the right
to reject bookings and
to cancel or re-schedule courses or individual sessions in the
unlikely event of this being required.
Discounts
For some courses, a
discount is available for an invoiced booking of 5 or more delegates
from the same organisation. Please
contact your account manager or training@lusas.com

Notes

The 'LUSAS
Introductory Course' was formerly run as the 'LUSAS for
Structural and Bridge Applications' training course.
-
'Understanding Basic
Dynamic Analysis' and 'Moving from Linear to Nonlinear Analysis'
training courses cater for all engineering disciplines.
Delegates should
ensure that they are familiar with linear static structural
analysis using LUSAS prior to attending one of these courses.
On-site /
Online Customised Training Courses

LUSAS on-site and online customised
training courses can be tailor-made to your
requirements and take place at your office or any location you
specify. Depending upon
numbers attending they can provide a more cost-effective way of
training a large number of staff without incurring staff travel and
accommodation costs that would otherwise be incurred if sending those
staff to attend a scheduled classtroom-based training course.
