LUSAS is a high tech
company specialising in the development, marketing and support of the
LUSAS finite element software, which is used worldwide throughout a range
of industries.
We seek another Support Engineer, based at our
riverside head office in Kingston upon Thames, to join our team of
engineers supporting our worldwide client base.
You should have a good degree in
Civil/Structural Engineering and a minimum of two years design experience
using stress analysis
software in structural engineering, preferably including bridge design. Experience of using LUSAS would be an advantage but not
essential as training will be given.
The position will involve:
- Providing technical support to LUSAS users
worldwide
- Carrying out analysis on consultancy projects
- Presenting LUSAS training courses
- Providing pre-sales support to the UK sales team,
LUSAS offices and Distributors worldwide
Among your personal qualities will be good
communications skills, an imaginative problem solving ability, a highly
proactive attitude, strong customer focus and the ability to be a good
team player.
The job will provide exposure to a wide
range of interesting engineering problems and an opportunity for you to
further develop your analysis skills.
As we market and sell LUSAS worldwide,
opportunities are available to those wishing to travel to visit many
overseas locations particularly Europe, USA, China, India, South Korea...
An excellent remuneration package is available
dependent on experience.
