LUSAS is a high tech
company specialising in the development, marketing and support of LUSAS finite element software, which is used worldwide throughout a range
of industries.
One of the services we
offer is engineering consultancy and due to an increasing work load we are
looking for an Engineering Analyst to join our team of specialist
engineers providing solutions to complex problems for the composites
industry
This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding team using the state
of the art LUSAS HPM (High Precision Moulding) finite element software, an
exciting new technology that is going to transform composites manufacture
by enabling ‘right first time’ tooling.
We expect the successful candidate to have a good first degree in
engineering, experience in structural composites, a background in finite
element analysis and either a minimum of two years industrial experience
since graduation or a composites related higher degree.
The
role will involve writing proposals and reports so you will be required to
demonstrate good communication and presentation skills (both written and
verbal). Contact with industry
will also be required so you will need to be very customer focused and
prepared to travel, possibly overseas.
The
position is based in our head office at Kingston upon Thames, UK.
An excellent remuneration package is available
dependent on experience.
