Head
of Engineering Consultancy (Ref
HEC-W)
LUSAS is a
high tech company specialising in the development, marketing and support
of LUSAS finite element software, which is used worldwide throughout a
range of industries. We
seek a Manager to head-up our specialist Engineering Consultancy team
providing advanced nonlinear, dynamics and thermal engineering analysis
services to a wide range of clients in the UK and Overseas.
You
should be a Chartered Engineer with 10 or more years of relevant
experience and a first
or second class degree in
Civil or Mechanical engineering or similar discipline.
A further qualification in FEA or numerical methods in engineering
would be an advantage. Applicants
with experience in using LUSAS would be particularly welcome.

You
should be able to demonstrate a fundamental understanding of
computational and engineering mechanics and have a proven track record
of managing technical staff.

Among
your personal qualities will be good client communication skills, both
written and verbal and
a dedication to quality.

You
will be based at our riverside head office in Kingston upon Thames but
due
to the international nature of the business a willingness to travel
overseas is essential.
An
excellent remuneration package is available dependent on experience.
