North America Support Engineer (Ref NASE-W)
We seek a Support
Engineer based in North America, to service our rapidly expanding North
American client base.
You should have a
good degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and a minimum of two years
design experience in structural engineering, including bridge design using
stress analysis software. Experience of using LUSAS or other
Finite Element Analysis software would
be an advantage but not essential as training will be given. The position
will involve:
- Providing
technical support for LUSAS
- Presenting
LUSAS training courses
- Providing
pre-sales support to the sales team
Among your personal
qualities will be good communications skills, an imaginative problem
solving ability, a highly proactive attitude, strong customer focus and
the ability to be a good team player.
The job will provide
exposure to a wide range of interesting engineering problems and an
opportunity for you to further develop your analysis skills.
In addition to
providing support services there could also be the opportunity to carry
out analysis consultancy for clients in North America, depending on your
experience.
Although we have an
office in New York it will not be necessary for you to be based there and
any suitable location in North America would be acceptable.
An
excellent remuneration package is available dependent on experience.
