Dongle has attracted a "time stamp" in the future

Problems can occur when PC clocks are altered for "daylight saving" time change occurs, or if the dongle is shared between two or more PCs.  If the clocks are not identical, the dongle will not recognise that that it has moved machines, but reading the PC clock may indicate that time has gone backward.

If this is the case, try setting the PC clock an hour or so forward. This may enable you to use LUSAS for the rest of the day. Then just before you go home set the PC clock back to the correct time - when invoking LUSAS the next day, the dongle should have recovered and the error message should not be encountered.

If a PC has been set to a date/ time far in the future (e.g. months or years) by accident, then it will be necessary for the dongle to be reprogrammed.  More on corrupt dongles
